What Tenim is
Tenim bir cilt bakım defteridir: rafındaki ürünleri kaydeder, içerik listelerini okur, rutinini ve hatırlatmalarını tutar. Tıbbi bir cihaz değildir; hiçbir durumu teşhis etmez, tedavi etmez, önlemez. İçerik notları kamuya açık kaynaklardan derlenmiş genel bilgidir, tıbbi tavsiye değildir ve ürünlerdeki konsantrasyonları ya da kişisel hassasiyetlerinizi bilemez. Rutininizi değiştirmeden önce — özellikle gebelik, emzirme veya reçeteli ürün kullanımı söz konusuysa — doktorunuza, dermatoloğunuza ya da eczacınıza danışın.
Tenim is a skincare notebook: it keeps the products on your shelf, reads their ingredient lists, and runs your routine and reminders. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Ingredient notes are general information compiled from public sources; they are not medical advice and cannot account for product concentrations or your individual sensitivities. Before changing your routine — especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using prescription products — consult your physician, dermatologist, or pharmacist.

My Shelf
Add your products by scanning the label, scanning the barcode or typing them in. Product details found by barcode come from Open Beauty Facts.
Ingredient info
For each ingredient: its CosIng function, any EU Cosmetics Regulation entry, and our short note with its source and date. No scores, no colour codes.
Routine
Build your morning, evening and weekly routine from the products on your shelf. You set the order. A reminder comes only at your routine time and never names an ingredient.
Skin journal
A short skin note for each day, and a photo if you like. Photos stay on your phone.
Tenim Pro
Full title, link and dates for every source; unlimited journal photos and two dates side by side; your data and photos exported in one file. Monthly or yearly subscription.

How we evaluate

- Tenim hiçbir içeriğe ya da ürüne "iyi", "kötü", "güvenli", "zararlı" demez; renk kodu, yıldız ya da derece yok.
- Her içerik için gösterdiklerimiz
- İçeriğin adı ve takma adları, CosIng işlevi (Avrupa Komisyonu'nun kozmetik içerik veritabanı), varsa AB Kozmetik Tüzüğü eklerindeki kaydı ve — yazdıysak — kısa notumuz: ne işe yaradığı, kaynakların ne dediği, düzenleyici sınır ve varsa allerjen bilgisi. Notlar şimdilik Türkçe ve İngilizce; diğer dillerde İngilizce not gösterilir.
- Notlar nasıl yazılıyor
- Nottaki her bilgi bir kaynağa dayanır; kaynağın adı ve yılı cümlenin yanında, türü sayfanın altındaki kaynak listesinde yazar. Kaynak türleri, öncelik sırasıyla: düzenleyici kurum (AB Komisyonu, ABD FDA) → bilimsel komite (AB SCCS) → bilimsel değerlendirme paneli (ABD CIR) → meslek örgütü (ör. Amerikan Dermatoloji Akademisi) → hakemli yayın → uzman görüşü (açıkça böyle yazılır). Blog ve forum kaynak sayılmaz.
- Kaynak bilgisi
- Kaynağın kısa adı, türü ve yılı herkese açıktır. Tenim Pro'da her kaynağın tam başlığı, bağlantısı ve tarihleri de görünür.
- Bilemediğimiz şey
- Etiket içeriklerin oranını yazmaz; bu yüzden notlar ürün hakkında değil, içerik hakkındadır. Cildinin nasıl tepki vereceğini de bilemeyiz.
- Not yoksa

- We don't score
- Tenim never calls an ingredient or product "good", "bad", "safe" or "harmful"; no colour codes, stars or grades.
- What we show for each ingredient
- Its name and other names, its CosIng function (the European Commission's cosmetic ingredient database), its entry in the EU Cosmetics Regulation annexes if there is one, and — where we have written one — our short note: what it does, what the sources say, the regulatory limit and allergen information if any. Notes are in Turkish and English for now; other languages show the English note.
- How notes are written
- Every piece of information in a note rests on a source; the source's name and year sit next to the sentence, its type in the source list at the bottom of the page. Source types, in order of priority: regulator (European Commission, US FDA) → scientific committee (EU SCCS) → expert review panel (US CIR) → professional society (e.g. American Academy of Dermatology) → peer-reviewed publication → expert opinion (labelled as such). Blogs and forums are not sources.
- Source details
- The short name, type and year of every source are open to everyone. Tenim Pro also shows each source's full title, link and dates.
- What we can't know
- Labels don't give ingredient percentages, so notes are about the ingredient, not the product. We also can't know how your skin will react.
- No note
- If an ingredient has no note, we are not saying anything good or bad about it; we just haven't written one yet.
- Updates
- Every note shows when it was written and last reviewed. When sources change we update the note and its date. Notes live inside the app and are updated with app releases.
- Data sources
- CosIng (European Commission, CC BY 4.0) · for products added by barcode, Open Beauty Facts (ODbL; its scores and labels are not used).
- Spotted a mistake?
- Write to us from the bottom of any ingredient page; we'll look into it, correct it if needed and update the date.
